I personally am not one to watch the local weather.
I prefer to get my weather forecast from the internet.
However, instances like these make me understand why people still choose to watch it on TV.
Sometimes some really random stuff can happen during the weather forecast, and this is definitely one of those times.
This weather report starts off pretty basic, with images and descriptions of a tornado that touched down in Oklahoma.
It goes on to say that it is possible this same weather will produce big thunderstorms for the Chicago area.
That's when the fun starts as a special guest "crashes" the weather report to explain the situation.
The special guest is "Thor's" own Tom Hiddleston, who plays Thor's brother Loki in the movies.
He arrives dressed in a dapper suit (sadly not in his Loki costume) and apologizes for his brother Thor's misbehavior.
He says there is a huge storm front coming in, and that can be attributed to Chris Hemsworth throwing down his hammer over Chicago.
Thanks to that, Chicago residents can prepare for a hell of a lot of rain and Tom wishes them all good luck.
How often do you get to see something this funny on the local weather report?
Probably not a lot, but I can see why it makes it worth watching!
