Sam has been in love with his girlfriend, and best friend, Jessica since they were 10 years old, and decided to pop the question.
He is good friends with a musician and a filmmaker.
Thanks to his cool connections, and inspired by the woman in his life, he decided to pull off the ultimate ruse - a fake music video!
By telling Jess that his friend needed a couple to star in a music video, he allowed his other friend to film them throughout the day.
Their "music video shoot" culminated with Sam and Jess at a restaurant, surrounded by their friends and family members.
Once there, on one knee, Sam tells the woman he has loved since fifth grade ... and that there was no actual music video.
"You're the sweetest, sexiest, smartest person I know," he told the love of his life. "And you're even pretty funny sometimes."
"You motivate me to be the best person I can be every day. And I want to spend every day with you for the rest of my life."
She said yes ... in spite of the fact that she was totally duped into thinking she was bound for music video stardom! Lame!
We kid obviously. Although this is going viral to the point where she is quasi-famous! Call it life imitating life imitating art!
